Job summary

McManes Automotive Group is seeking a Service Technician for Eastside Dodge. The role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and servicing customer vehicles to ensure safety and high customer satisfaction.

Compensation includes a $40–$48/hr flat-rate and a $58/hr flat-rate for warranty repairs, with additional benefits and an opportunity for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Strong aptitude for technical/mechanical repairs.
• Ability to work in a team with strong interpersonal skills.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned.
• Diagnose the source of malfunctions and perform the repair.
• Inspect vehicles to determine safety or service needs.
• Explain procedures and repairs to Service Advisors.
• Complete road tests and safety inspections.

The Service Technician is responsible for working attentively in maintaining, repairing, and servicing customer vehicles to ensure safety and customer satisfaction as well as overall department success.

Job Duties:

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned
• Diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform the repair
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required
• Explain procedures and repairs directly to the Service Advisors
• Perform road test and safety inspections

The Successful Candidates Possess:

• Strong Aptitude for technical/mechanical repairs
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record
• Ability to work in a team and possess strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude
• Able to operate manual and automatic transmissions
