Pape' Machinery, Inc is seeking a Journeyman Shop Technician to service construction and forestry equipment in our Fremont shop. You will perform accurate, timely diagnostics and repairs to maximize uptime for our customers, working alongside skilled technicians in a well-equipped facility.

Formación

• 10+ years of diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment (new and used).
• Team‑oriented with ability to work without direct supervision.
• Must provide own tools and complete a diagnostic/repair training program.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair construction and forestry equipment in the shop.
• Ensure repairs are accurate and timely to maximize uptime for customers.
• Operate lift trucks as needed and use available shop resources to complete jobs.

JOURNEYMAN SHOP TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Journeyman Shop Technician, you will work on construction and forestry equipment in the shop ensuring equipment repairs are done accurately and timely, all in an effort to support our customers and maximize their uptime. Being a journeyman, we will count on you when a tough job needs to get done. Every day, picture yourself working alongside other trained Technicians in a shop that has all the support and resources you need to perform top-notch work on equipment.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• 10 or more years of experience in diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of new and used heavy equipment.
• A team-oriented personality, with the focus and drive to work without direct supervision.
• The discipline and skill to complete a technical diagnostic and repair training program.
• Must provide own tools.
• Ability to operate a lift truck and other heavy equipment – We will train you!

Compensation: $54.16/hr

(This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement)
