Job summary

RK Industries is seeking a Journeyman or Master Journeyman for the Denver area to perform a wide range of sheet metal duties in construction, finishing, and repair of buildings. Job description

Position and Responsibilities Overview

Perform the full range of Journeyman or Master Journeyman level duties for Sheet Metal in the construction, finishing, repair, etc. of buildings.

• Perform trade specific tasks on a construction site.
• Oversee productivity of crew.
• Ensure schedules and deadlines are met.
• Perform some layout activities.
• Perform some material takeoffs as necessary.
• Trade related material, tool, and equipment requisitions.
• Perform planned maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Perform equipment start up with associated documentation.
• Perform quality control inspections.
• Technical trouble shooting and diagnostics when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED preferred or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
• Journeyman or Master License required.
• Good physical condition and ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Good dexterity and eye hand coordination.
• Aptitude for technical problem solving.
• Familiarity with building codes and current laws/regulations.
• Ability to maintain clean and orderly tools/work area.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Expert knowledge of trade tools, equipment, and materials.
• Keen eye for detail.

Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $35.00
