Job summary

Pape’ Machinery in Hawaii is seeking a Journeyman Service Technician to join our team. You will work on construction equipment in the field and in the shop, diagnose and repair across brands, and help maximize customer uptime through solid technical work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel equipment across brands.
• Basic computer knowledge to operate diagnostic tools and systems.
• Self-motivation and ability to work with little supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record; Class B CDL preferred.
• Must provide own tools.

• Diagnose and repair all brands of heavy diesel equipment in the field and shop.
• Work as a Journeyman on tough jobs to ensure accurate, timely repairs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As our Service Technician, you will work on all makes and models of construction equipment both in the field and in the shop ensuring equipment repairs are done accurately and timely, all in an effort to support our customers and maximize their uptime. Being a Journeyman technician, we will count on you when a tough job needs to get done.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• 5 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record. Class B CDL preferred.
• Must provide own tools.

Compensation: $32.98-49.47/hr (Depending on Experience)
