Townsend Energy is a family-owned plumbing and energy service provider in New Hampshire. We offer residential plumbing service, troubleshooting, and installations across Portsmouth, Manchester, and Somersworth with a Monday–Friday work schedule from 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential plumbing service and installation experience.
• Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License or eligible to obtain License.
• Boilers, and Hydronics systems experience - Desired
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment - Desired
• Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon conditional offer of employment.

Responsibilities

• Residential plumbing service
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing plumbing fixtures and systems in residential homes
• Assembles, installs, or repairs pipes or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems
• Repair and install fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers or water heaters, and fixtures such as sinks or toilets
• Soldering, brazing, or welding equipment
• Communicating with customer repair and upgrade options
• Minor to major re-pipes jobs

Journeyman Service Plumber | $42.00 to $60.00 per hour, based on experience

Work Hours: Monday through Friday | 7:30am - 4:00pm

Location: Portsmouth, Manchester, and Somersworth NH

Job Duties:

• Residential plumbing service
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of plumbing fixtures and systems in residential customers' homes
• Assembles, installs, or repairs pipes, or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems according to specifications or plumbing codes
• Repair and install fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers or water heaters, and fixtures such as sinks or toilets
• Soldering, brazing, or welding equipment
• Communicating with customer repair and upgrade options
• Minor to major re-pipes jobs

Qualifications:

• 5 + years of residential plumbing service and installation experience
• Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License or eligible to obtain License
• Boilers, and Hydronics systems experience - Desired
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment - Desired
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
