MKD Electric, LLC is seeking a skilled Service Electrician to design, install, and maintain electrical systems for diverse client projects in the United States. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and customer service across renewables, data centers, oil and gas, and manufacturing settings.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair PLC, DCS, VFDs, motors, lighting and distribution systems.
• Follow NEC and OSHA safety standards on all tasks.
• Run tests with electrical test equipment and analyze results.
• Install and bend conduits and pull power/control/instrumentation wiring.
• Work safely at heights and around heavy equipment.
• Maintain a customer-focused approach and work both independently and in teams.

What you will do…

• Proven track record of troubleshooting and repairing various types of equipment/components such as PLC and DCS systems, AC and DC VFD’s, motor controls, lighting and distribution systems
• Must have knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards
• Conduct sequential tests to determine malfunctions, analyze operations of electrical equipment, or systems
• Utilize electrical test equipment such as infrared, ultrasonic and data logging devices, as well as voltmeter, ammeter and ohmmeter
• Install and bend various types of conduits (EMT, Rigid, Aluminum)
• Setup and pull wire/cable & Terminate power, control, and instrumentation wire and cable
• Operate, maintain, and work near various power equipment, including, but not limited to, forklifts, man-lifts, excavators, drills, saws, hydraulic tools and automatic machinery
• Must be customer service oriented on all levels
• Must be organized, able to multi‑task, work both independently, and be a team player
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Work from various heights via platforms, scaffolds, ladders, or man‑lifts
• Bend and stretch, lift, and move heavy objects many times across a shift
• Must be safety conscious

What you will need to succeed…

• 10+ years of experience installing and maintaining electrical systems
• Must have knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code and OSHA safety standards
• Experience working directly with clients, exhibiting a high level of customer service and professionalism
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be organized, able to multi‑task, work both independently, and be a team player.
• Ability to pass a Federal credentialling background check for work completed at government facilities

The base pay range for this position is $32.00 to $50.00 per hour. Please note that the compensation range reflects the base pay only and does not include benefits, or bonuses this role may be eligible to receive. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by bona fide factors such as geographic work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
