Job summary

The Brock Group Inc. is seeking a Scaffold Builder to construct, demo, stage and modify scaffolding components at a Plaquemine site. The role emphasizes safety, alignment with Brock’s Bsafe/Bbest culture, and adherence to manufacturer specs and governmental requirements.

The position involves identifying appropriate scaffold systems, organizing materials, processing material orders, and completing required safety documentation. Orientation and physical demands are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Must pass Brock and/or Safety Council Site Specific Orientation requirements.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist and 35 pounds from waist to above shoulder.

Responsibilities

• Promote Brock’s Bsafe and Bbest culture in all aspects of the business.
• Comply with all manufacturer’s specifications.
• Ensure adherence to Brock, Contractor’s, and governmental safety requirements.
• Identify the type of scaffolding material to be used for the job (frame, tube & clamp, system).
• Sort and organize material.
• Place and receive orders for material.
• Complete safety paperwork such as FLRA’s, Sharp Cards, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
