Legacy Heating & Air is seeking a Journeyman Plumbing Installer in Elkhart, IN. Expect year-round work with strong pay and a paid sign-on bonus, plus opportunities for growth within a trusted home-services company.

You'll install water, drain, waste, and vent systems, service water heaters, and manage rough-ins for new construction and remodels. A driver’s license and a commitment to quality are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of plumbing installation experience.
• Strong understanding of residential plumbing systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and professionally on job sites.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install residential plumbing systems, including water, drain, waste, and vent.
• Install and replace water heaters, fixtures, valves, drains, and piping.
• Perform rough-in and final trim-out for new construction and remodel projects.
• Ensure all work meets code, safety standards, and Legacy quality expectations.
• Communicate clearly with customers, builders, and team members.
• Maintain accurate job notes, estimates, and documentation.
• Keep your vehicle and work area clean, organized, and professional.
