Job summary

Dead River Company is seeking a Plumber who can install and repair residential and commercial plumbing, following codes and safety standards. The role emphasizes customer service and trusted advisory service, with responsibilities ranging from installation of water lines to vehicle upkeep and on-call coverage.

The ideal candidate has journeyman or master level experience, Maine licenses, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

2 years plumbing experience for Journeyman; 3 years for Master.
State of Maine Journeyman Plumbers License or State of Maine Master Plumbers License.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems per codes and safety regulations.
Install and service equipment including running new water lines.
Eliminate call-backs by ensuring safe, accurate work.
Promote image as trusted advisor with neat appearance and courteous service.
Maintain service vehicle and inventory; report parts and labor per procedures.
Participate in night/weekend on-call as necessary.
Report accidents and liability claims.
Other duties as assigned.
