Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to install, assemble, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial construction projects across Texas.

You will work with piping, fittings, valves, and fixtures for heating, potable water, and drainage systems, ensuring quality workmanship and code compliance. Responsibilities include reviewing plans, locating pipe positions, cutting openings, and installing and testing systems with safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Possession of a valid/current Journeyman Plumber’s License is a must.
• 4+ years as a Plumbing Journeyman preferred.
• Trained and qualified to operate machinery such as scissor lifts, aerial lifts, fork lifts, etc.
• Demonstrated proficiency through job-related training and extensive on-the-job experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews specifications and shop drawings to identify tools and equipment for precise installation sequencing.
• Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures like sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, and others.
• Locates and marks pipe positions, connections, and passage holes using rulers, levels, and lasers.
• Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and fittings using hand and power tools.
• Assembles and installs valves, pipes and fittings made of metal and non-metals.
• Joins pipes using solder, brazing, and pipe joining methods.
• Follows safety regulations and maintains a clean, orderly work area.
