Island Airco is seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician in Eureka Springs, AR. You will handle installation, maintenance, inspection, operation, and repair of residential plumbing systems, including sinks, water heaters, toilets, and related fixtures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential plumbing diagnostic experience.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Journeyman license (preferred).
• Ability to provide repair vs replacement options to customers.
• Knowledge of drain machines, camera, and locate equipment.
• Knowledge of safe use and maintenance of plumbing tools.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use an iPad to document work.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Execute troubleshooting to identify root causes of plumbing issues.
• Perform timely and accurate repairs of plumbing and drain issues.
• Explain services and exact prices to customers and gain approval.
• Establish customer rapport to sell products and services.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Educate customers on financing options and maintenance plans.
• Maintain professional conduct to earn referrals and repeat business.
• Keep truck neat and clean, inside and out.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and Dispatch for business success.
• Document services with before/after photos and detailed records.
• Maintain safety on the job and while driving.
