Job summary

MPE Services is seeking a Journeyman or Master Plumber to join our Florence, AL team. You will install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, ensuring code compliance and high-quality workmanship.

The role requires a valid AL Journeyman Plumber license and at least 2 years of plumbing experience. You will collaborate with HVAC and electrical teams, perform inspections, and provide excellent customer service on every call.

Qualifications

• AL Journeyman Plumber License is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in plumbing.
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water, drainage, water heaters, and filtration systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map pipe layouts.
• Provide excellent customer service while explaining technical details.
• Collaborate with HVAC and Electrical professionals for integrated home services.
• Operate equipment such as drain machines, cameras, jetting machines, and excavation tools.
• Participate in on-call rotation and maintain safety standards.

Position Overview:

To keep up with our growth and workload, our Florence office is seeking an experienced Journeyman or Master Plumber who is passionate about delivering high-quality plumbing services. In this role, you will install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems while ensuring compliance with local plumbing codes and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water, drainage systems, water heaters, filtration systems, etc.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• General understanding of blueprints and building specifications to map out pipe layouts.
• Provide excellent customer service while explaining technical details to customers.
• Work with a team of HVAC and Electrical professionals to provide comprehensive home service solutions.
• Proficient in equipment such as drain machines, cameras, jetting machines, and excavation equipment
• Participate in On-call Rotation.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of plumbing codes and industry advancements.
