Job summary

Sentry is seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems on commercial and residential projects. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete quality work safely and efficiently.

You will read construction drawings and blueprints, lay out piping, install fixtures and piping systems, and coordinate with project managers and customers. A valid SD Journeyman license or ability to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Current South Dakota Journeyman Plumber license or ability to obtain one.
• Previous commercial or residential plumbing experience.
• Thorough understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and installation methods.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform plumbing layout.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Reliable attendance and professional communication.
• Ability to pass applicable pre-employment screening.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work from ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and in confined spaces.

• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment.

Schedule
