Responsibilities

  • Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.
  • Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers or water heaters, or fixtures such as sinks and toilets, using hand or power tools.
  • Plan the layout of plumbing, using drawings.
  • Perform maintenance of water supply systems.
  • Install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems.
  • Professionally interact with customers and clearly communicate work orders and statuses.
