Candidates must have either 2 years of power plant experience or have completed Power Plant Fundamentals, along with certification as a Journeyman Electrician.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years power plant experience or have completed Power Plant Fundamentals.
• 3 years experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
• Must pass IBEW local 57 examination.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot plant electrical generating systems and support equipment.
• Calibrate electrical equipment to ensure reliable and safe electric generation.
• Train and instruct the work of apprentices and helpers.
