Job summary

Versar Global Solutions, headquartered in Washington, DC, seeks a Journeyman Operations Analyst to support the Coast Guard CWMD program. The role will primarily work remote, with duties focused on policy review, requirements support, and program coordination within a defense context.

Qualifications

  • Must possess and maintain an active and valid Florida driver's license.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Successful results of pre-employment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.
  • Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by start date.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as primary POC for the Joint Requirements Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JRO-CBRN).
  • Review current DOD strategy and policy statements to ensure the Coast Guard can meet operational requirements.
  • Provide Monthly Status Report
  • Support USCG involvement, and participation in the development and implementation of the GNDA.
  • Support assessments to determine the extent to which USCG incorporated and addressed threat assessments by the IC into its GNDA related operations.
  • Support the DHS Fiscal Year budget build process during the current FY for Radiation /Nuc detection.
  • Identify any performance, operational, or technical deficiencies of R/N detection technology deployed.

Who You Are:

Supports the Program Manager for the Coast Guard’s CWMD Capabilities. The CWMD program includes the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) response capabilities.

*This position is contingent upon award.

What You’ll Do:

Compensation

Expected Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

Versar Global Solutions provides the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the Company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
