Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is hiring a Millwright for 100% onsite work in Blairsville, PA. The role involves planning, layout, and execution of complex maintenance tasks on machinery and material-handling equipment, reporting to the Supervisor of Maintenance and Facilities Ops.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, journeyman millwright certification, and 5 years of mechanical repair experience (3 in industrial maintenance).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman Millwright / Mechanical Craft Certification.
• Five (5) years Mechanical Repair Craft experience, three (3) in industrial maintenance.
• Diploma or applicable education from a trade/technical school may qualify for part of experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive work assignments from supervisor and work from drawings or instructions.
• Disconnect and reconnect electrical services up to 120V, single phase AC.
• Disconnect and reconnect tubing, piping, hoses, gauges up to 2" diameter.
• Perform incidental machining and repair of parts.
• Diagnose machine function and perform preventive maintenance.
