You’ll get to:* Install and assemble machinery while following blueprints, schematics, and manuals and test them to make sure they are working correctly* Perform welding/machining/fabrication – including fabricating guards, brackets and mounts to hold equipment safely, creating machine parts* Ensure machine alignment including precise fitting of bearings, gears and shafts, motors, and couplings* Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic and general machinery by running tests, making temporary repairs, fabricating and/or installing new parts* Rebuild and/or repair machines or assemblies to original operating conditions.* Perform preventive maintenance (including vibration analysis) by identifying and correcting potential issues, removing worn out pieces and lubricating mechanical parts* Communicate, discuss and/or review repair problems with Supervision, Engineering, the Tool Room, Production Team Leads or vendors as needed.* Use Scaffolding and Aerial lifts* Work in in full compliance and following all OSHA guidelines and industry standards for industrial safety**Who You Are**You always strive to do a good job...but wouldn’t it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good? You also have:* **Journeyman Millwright Certification required*** High school education or equivalent.
