Job summary

PacifiCorp seeks a Journeyman Lineman Troubleshooter to construct and maintain distribution lines, service lights, transformers, and related equipment. You will install/remove meters, read charts, and address customer service issues, including radio interference, while also collecting delinquent accounts.

You may train and direct a trainee; the role requires skilled line work in rural settings, with a focus on safety and reliability. Primary location is Montpelier, ID.

Qualifications

• Formal Journeyman Lineman training completed.
• Journeyman Lineman certification or Local 57 testing completed or in progress.
• CDL license or ability to obtain one.
• 4+ years as Journeyman Lineman in a rural environment.
• 2+ years as Journeyman Serviceman.

Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain distribution lines, service street lights, transformers, and related equipment.
• Install and remove meters and read/change charts on all types and sizes of meters.
• Investigate and handle customer service complaints, including radio interference.
• Collect delinquent accounts as part of the responsibilities.
• Train and direct a trainee in the trade.
