Job summary

PacifiCorp in RAWLINS, WY is seeking a Journeyman Lineman to install, maintain and repair transmission and distribution lines, overhead and underground, using line trucks, bucket lifts and hot sticks. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, Journeyman Lineman certification or UWUA 127 testing, and completion of an apprenticeship program.

CDL Class A is required, with post-offer physical screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Journeyman Lineman experience and/or certification/testing UWUA 127.
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship training program.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair transmission and distribution electrical systems and equipment, overhead and underground.
• Operate line trucks, aerial boom lifts, and wire pulling equipment; climb poles and use hot sticks and bucket lifts.
• Train/direct trainees/apprentices; rubber gloving training provided; eligible for pay increase after rubber gloving qualifications.
