Job summary

kVP Energy Services, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Lineman for work across Midland/Odessa/Austin TX. The role involves construction, maintenance and repair of overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission lines, with after-hours emergency call-backs as needed.

The candidate should have 5+ years in Energy, Oil & Gas, a valid Journeyman license, and the ability to travel ~25% within the state. Knowledge of 15-kV, 34-kV and 115-kV systems is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current first aid/CPR certified.
• Licensed Journeyman Lineman.
• 5+ years direct experience in Energy, Oil & Gas.
• Valid Class A CDL or driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work with customers and allocate tools/resources.
• Promote safety practices and maintain site cleanliness.
• Ensure safety and company policies are followed.
• Climb poles and work from aerial buckets near energized lines.
• Work with energized underground 15-kV materials and hot line tools.
• Work with hot line tools on 15-kV, 34-kV and 115-kV systems.
• Meet the public and establish cooperative relationships.
• Read plans and work at heights >10 feet to install equipment.
• Keep company vehicles and equipment clean and maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
