Job summary

The Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is hiring a Journeyman Lineman in Dayton, Ohio and surrounding areas. The role involves energized and de-energized work for the crew, supervision of apprentices, and maintaining equipment and safety standards.

Qualified candidates will have a Journeyman Lineman credential, CDL with medical card, own hand tools, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Experience in electrical distribution is preferred.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Lineman required or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience recommended.
• Valid Class A CDL and medical card required.
• Own your own hand tools.
• Proficiency with electrical distribution systems.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform energized & de-energized work assigned to the crew.
• Supervise Apprentice Lineman training with him.
• Maintain care of assigned equipment and tools.
• Take responsibility for the crew when Foreman is not present.
• Observe and enforce Company safety rules.
• Perform other duties as directed.
