Qualifications

• Journeyman-level plumbing experience required.
• Appropriate plumbing licensure and/or qualifications to perform journeyman plumbing work in New Mexico.
• Strong knowledge of UPC plumbing codes.
• Residential service and repair experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential plumbing service, repairs, maintenance, and installations.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
• Repair leaks, piping, fixtures, faucets, toilets, and other plumbing systems.
• Install and service water heaters, fixtures, and plumbing equipment.
• Work with water softeners and water treatment systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair residential water and sewage systems.
• Read and interpret plumbing plans, specifications, and technical information as needed.
• Complete work in accordance with UPC, state, and local plumbing codes.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and ensure work is completed correctly and efficiently.

Direct Hire Opportunity with Superior Skilled Trades

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Journeyman Licensed Plumber for a direct hire opportunity with an established plumbing company in the Santa Fe, NM area. This is a hands‑on field position focused primarily on residential plumbing service, repair, and installation.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced plumber with strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) and applicable New Mexico plumbing requirements, and the ability to independently handle service calls while providing quality workmanship and professional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform residential plumbing service, repairs, maintenance, and installations.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
• Repair leaks, piping, fixtures, faucets, toilets, and other plumbing systems.
• Install and service water heaters, fixtures, and plumbing equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be located within commuting distance of Santa Fe or willing to relocate.

Relocation Assistance

Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate:

$5,000 total relocation assistance

• $2,500 with first paycheck
• Additional $2,500 after 6 months
