KC Fab LLC in Missouri is seeking an experienced Iron Worker to join our fabrication-focused team. You will weld, read blueprints, and assemble steel components for residential and commercial projects. We value safety, quality, and hands-on expertise with sticks, MIG, and various metals.

The role requires climbing, lifting, and working at heights with a strong commitment to craftsmanship. Pay ranges from $20 to $30 per hour, with room for advancement.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in welding with Stick and MIG processes.
• Hands-on experience as an iron worker with fabrication.
• Familiar with OSHA safety regulations in construction.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks including heights and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install iron/steel girders, columns and structural components.
• Read blueprints to determine layout and dimensions.
• Layout, cut and weld using hand tools and welding equipment.
• Install metal decking and cladding systems.
• Install ornamental ironwork such as railings and staircases.
• Perform rigging to lift and position heavy materials.
