Job summary

American National Insulation, Inc. is hiring a Journeyman to implement insulation methods on job sites in Sumner, WA, and to mentor helpers. The role requires reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, and installing insulation, sealants, and related materials with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

You will plan daily routes, load trucks with materials and tools, conduct safety checks, and ensure quality on site. A valid driver’s license and adherence to CBAs are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for Company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
• THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION.

Responsibilities

• As a Journeyman, you will be responsible for practicing best insulation practices and training insulation, plaster, sealer and spray helpers.
• Install products as allowed by associated collective bargaining agreement and/or project labor agreement.
• Understand blueprints and sketches.
• Measure, shape, and cut materials to specified measurements.
• Insulate, spray, plaster, trowel, seal, cover, wrap, staple, glue and fit insulating/sealant/foam/materials.
• Review your daily work schedule and ensure truck is loaded with all product(s), tools and equipment for the day.
• Complete vehicle safety and job site inspections.
• Safely unload and stage material at job site.
• Report safety, customer or quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned per the CBAs.
