Delta Solutions & Strategies in El Segundo, CA, is seeking a Journeyman Information Security Analyst to support Space Systems Command's Space Sensing activities at Los Angeles Air Force Base. You will perform cybersecurity, information assurance, RMF, and system authorization tasks in a fast-paced DoD environment.

The role requires DoD RMF experience, strong written and verbal communication, and ability to coordinate with government customers in person.

Qualifications

• Experience commensurate with a Journeyman-level role in cybersecurity.
• Working knowledge of the DoD RMF and authorization processes.
• Experience developing and maintaining RMF artifacts.
• Ability to document findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute assigned technical or analytical tasks under general direction.
• Support cybersecurity and information assurance activities across Space Sensing.
• Develop, review, update RMF documents and authorization packages.
• Support system registration and status tracking in eMASS and EITDR.
• Evaluate security controls and technical risk for DoD requirements.
• Support ISSO/ISSM activities and authorization coordination.
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments and remediation actions.
• Review cybersecurity plans and program documentation for security impacts.
• Support cybersecurity IPTs, working groups, and reviews.
• Prepare status reports, risk assessments, briefings, and training materials.

Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a Journeyman Information Security Analyst to support United States Space Force Space Systems Command (SSC), Space Sensing (SN) activities in Los Angeles Air Force Base in El Segundo, California. This position will provide cybersecurity, information assurance, Risk Management Framework, system authorization, security compliance, and classified mission-system support for Space Sensing. The selected candidate will independently execute defined technical or analytical tasks, develop accurate work products, coordinate routine stakeholder inputs, and support reviews, working groups, and Government decision-making. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in the functional area, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced Department of Defense acquisition environment.

• Anticipated award/start date September 28, 2026 What you will be doing:
• Independently execute assigned technical or analytical tasks under general direction and elevate issues requiring senior or Government decision.
• Support cybersecurity and information assurance activities across Space Sensing mission and program systems.
• Develop, review, update, and maintain Risk Management Framework documentation, authorization packages, security plans, and associated artifacts.
• Support system registration, authorization, and status tracking in Government cybersecurity repositories and tools, including eMASS and EITDR as applicable.
• Evaluate security controls, technical risk, cybersecurity requirements, and system changes for compliance with applicable Department of Defense requirements.
• Support Information System Security Officer and Information System Security Manager activities, including control management, compliance reviews, and authorization coordination.
• Coordinate and document vulnerability assessments, security testing, scanning activities, findings, and corrective actions.
• Review cybersecurity plans, change proposals, memorandums, technical documentation, and program products for security impacts and RMF compliance.
• Support cybersecurity Integrated Product Teams, working groups, teleconferences, inspections, and security‑related program reviews.
• Prepare recurring status reports, risk assessments, briefings, training products, and other cybersecurity deliverables. What you will need:
• Professional experience and technical depth commensurate with a Journeyman‑level role in the applicable functional area.
• Relevant cybersecurity, information assurance, information security, RMF, system authorization, or related experience commensurate with the position level.
• Working knowledge of the Department of Defense Risk Management Framework and cybersecurity authorization processes.
• Experience developing, reviewing, or maintaining cybersecurity documentation and system authorization artifacts.
• Ability to evaluate security controls, vulnerabilities, technical risk, and system changes and clearly document findings.
• Strong analytical, technical writing, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Government security, engineering, program management, and contractor stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and cybersecurity documentation or tracking tools.
• Ability to work on site in Los Angeles Air Force Base in El Segundo, California and support in‑person Government meetings and mission activities as required.
• Ability to support CONUS and OCONUS travel when required by the Government.
• Ability to work with sensitive and classified information, Government systems, controlled‑access facilities, and Government‑furnished equipment in accordance with contract requirements.
• Security Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access/eligibility required for this position. Desired Skills/Experience:
• Experience supporting United States Space Force, Space Systems Command, or Department of Defense mission systems.
• Experience with eMASS, EITDR, DISA security guidance, security control validation, or vulnerability assessment activities.
• Familiarity with DoDI 8500.01, DoDI 8510.01, cybersecurity plans, Plans of Action and Milestones, or authorization packages.
• Experience supporting highly classified systems, Sensitive Compartmented Information environments, or secure facilities.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity inspections, Integrated Product Teams, incident response exercises, or recurring security reporting.
