Job summary

Austin Industrial seeks a Journeyman Industrial Combo-Welder for full-time work at our U.S. projects. You will weld pipe and structural components using GTAW, FCAW, and TIG, with SMAW and flux-core processes as needed. You must pass weld tests and work in PPE across multiple positions.

Qualifications

• Must be a Journeyman Industrial Combo-Welder with 3-5 years of experience.
• Ability to weld 2" Sch 10 GTAW and 2" heavy wall carbon steel GTAW; GTAW, FCAW and TIG on structures and pipe.
• Must pass weld tests and demonstrate full penetration welds with SMAW and flux core welding.
• Work safely wearing PPE and follow all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Weld structure and pipe using GTAW, FCAW, TIG and SMAW per procedures.
• Unite pipes from torch to tanks and operate valves safely.
• Perform welds and x-ray welds per procedures and test requirements.
• Maintain welding equipment and document measurements and specs.
• Perform duties in varied positions and heights as required.
