Job summary
Tradesmen International is seeking experienced Journeyman HVAC Technicians for projects in or around Pierce County, WA. This first shift role offers pay of $44-$48/hour based on experience and skill level. Join a team that values safety, productivity and craftsmanship while advancing your career.
Applicants should have 4+ years in HVAC, EPA 608 certification, and a strong ability to install and troubleshoot systems. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of HVAC field experience.
- Journeyman-level HVAC experience.
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification.
- Strong HVAC installation and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Install and service HVAC systems including ductwork, furnaces, heat pumps, condensers, compressors, and thermostats.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydronic, and control system issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, and charging.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
- Use HVAC diagnostic tools and brazing equipment.
- Follow OSHA, LOTO, PPE, and all jobsite safety requirements.
