Independence Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling Inc is seeking experienced Journeyman HVAC/Plumbers to join our family-owned team in Independence, IA. The role involves diagnosing and repairing furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, heat pumps, geothermal systems, and water heaters, as well as installing HVAC and plumbing systems and leading apprentices.

Qualifications

• Journeyman HVAC/Plumber with proven field experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, heat pumps, geothermal heat pumps and water heaters.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Rotating on-call schedule and ability to work independently or with a team.

We are looking for experienced, hardworking, and dedicated Journeyman HVAC/Plumbers to join our family company. We are currently seeking full-time technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and repairing furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, heat pumps, geothermal heat pumps, and water heaters.
• Installation of HVAC systems, ductwork, plumbing, and low voltage wiring.
• Rotating on call schedule
• Must have a valid driver license
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must be able to work individually or with a team
• Lead jobs with apprentices
