Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a Lineman School approved by the U.S. Department of Labor or 4-year experience on 1kv+ with documentation.
• Proficiency in electrical theory and terminology.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, diagrams and technical materials.
• Strong math skills for electrical calculations.
• Commitment to safety and safe work practices in high voltage environments.
• Ability to plan work, estimate tasks, and coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Climb power poles and repair or replace wire, cables, insulators, and connectors.
• Set poles, guy wires, and install transformers and regulators.
• Splice cables and repair protection devices; maintain records.
