Mortenson is seeking an Operator Journeyman responsible for operating heavy equipment in accordance with safety policies. The role requires following work plans, maintaining equipment, and providing leadership in resourceful ways.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of related experience, relevant certifications, and a valid driver’s license. A strong team orientation and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of related experience.
• Must have equipment certifications as required.
• Current driver’s license with proper classification and endorsements as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as blade, dozer, loader, scraper, forklift/tele Handler, crane, bobcat/skid-steer, boom lifts/aerial lifts, and roller.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Perform routine maintenance and detect malfunctions.
• Follow work plans and provide leadership through resourcefulness and problem solving.
• Build relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
