Job summary

EPI Power is seeking Journeyman-level Electricians (unlicensed) to support large-scale data center construction projects. candidates should have solid commercial or industrial electrical experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.

We offer long-term project opportunities with consistent hours and potential for advancement. Travel between projects and overtime shifts may be required to meet project demands.

  • Journeyman-level electrical experience (license not required).
  • Commercial or industrial electrical construction experience.
  • Data center or critical facility experience is a plus, not required.
  • Willingness to travel and move between projects as needed based on workload and schedules.
  • Ability to work overtime and different shifts if needed.
  • Strong safety mindset and reliable attendance.
  • Must be able to pass required site screening and onboarding.
  • Flexible schedule with willingness to work different shifts as needed based on project demands.

  • Install conduit, cable tray, and grounding systems
  • Pull and terminate feeders and branch circuits
  • Assist with installation of switchgear, panels, PDUs, RPPs, and other electrical equipment
  • Read and follow electrical drawings and layouts
  • Follow direction from foremen and general foremen
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Follow all site safety policies and procedures

Job description

What You'll Do

Language Skills

Basic English proficiency is required for safety communication and blueprint reading. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, but not required

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, sit, stand and walk on uneven ground; use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls; frequently make repetitive reaching and other movements with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee frequently is required to speak and listen and regularly lift and/or move materials. Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must wear all company or project required personal protective equipment (PPE), regularly work in outside weather conditions, be aware of close moving mechanical parts, and perform in high, precarious places. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Employee must also be able to work scheduled/unscheduled overtime, per the needs of the project (weekends and holidays included).
