Job summary

Amteck is seeking Traveling Journeyman Electricians for our Service Dept. You will work on commercial and industrial sites, traveling to client locations with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of electrical experience on commercial/industrial sites.
• Ability to install conduit, wire, and cable systems; read blueprints.
• Experience leading 1–3 team members; OSHA10 preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate panels, switchboards, and electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty circuits and equipment.
• Lead 1–3 team members on job sites.
• Travel to commercial/industrial client sites as required.

You will have the ability to diversify your electrical skill set with being able to learn others within Amteck. We have training for low voltage, fire alarm, controls, and instrumentation among other skill sets.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites
• Ability to install conduit, wire and cable systems as required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to install and terminate panels, switchboards and other electrical equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty circuits, equipment or systems
• Control experience is a plus
• Ability to effectively lead 1-3 team members
• OSHA10 preferred but not required
