Job summary

Vylor is hiring an Electrician for our Constantine, Michigan site to support operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and HVAC systems. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and adherence to environmental and OSHA standards.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and inspect equipment, read schematics, and work with PLCs and automation systems. On-site work with occasional overtime during seasonal peaks to sustain production.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Journeyman Electrical License.
• Familiar with the National Electric Code (NEC).
• Proven ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and manuals.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC for processes and facilities.
• Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting, and scheduled inspections per guidelines.
• Support electrical safety programs and ensure OSHA/PSM compliance.
• Recommend improvements to safety and process changes, including new devices or hardware.
• Work overtime and weekends during peak production as required.
