Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. seeks a Journeyman Electrician for full-time mobility in the Joshua, TX area. The role covers electrical installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on roadway/facility lighting and electrical systems, with adherence to regulations and company policies.

Candidate must hold a Texas Journeyman Electrical License; CDL A/B is preferred. 480V power experience and strong professionalism are required; occasional nights and weekends may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Texas Journeyman Electrical License.
• CDL A or B preferred; CDL may be required.
• Familiar with 480V and below 3-phase and single-phase power.
• Roadway lighting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with client and management; communicate clearly and concisely.
• Identify and repair electrical issues with minimal oversight.
• Maintain roadway illumination and power; service facility electrical components.
• Follow purchasing protocols and make cost-conscious decisions.
• Report equipment failures to the electrical manager; execute preventive maintenance.
• Work from elevated heights in bucket trucks; adhere to safety guidelines.
• Assist with project retrofits and other related work.
