Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Journeyman Electrician in Missouri to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs for facility systems and equipment. You will diagnose issues, coordinate with contractors, and document tasks while adhering to regulatory standards.

The Facilities Maintenance team ensures safe, efficient operations across locations, focusing on safety, quality, and cost control. You will support emergency responses and contribute to continuous improvement within a large retail

Qualifications

2 years' experience in the electrical trade.
Licensed Journeyman Electrician or equivalent in state of work.
Valid state-issued driver's license.
License in related trade in city and/or state of work.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safety and operation of facilities and equipment.
Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical systems using blueprints and manuals.
Document maintenance activities and capital expense information.
Manage work orders and coordinate with contractors to meet safety standards.
Respond to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations.
Operate and maintain vehicles and powered equipment following safety procedures.
Collaborate with team to improve processes and support business priorities.
