Job summary

Pellman Electric Associates, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to perform electrical work across residential, commercial, and industrial sites in Western Pennsylvania. Responsibilities include installing, servicing, and repairing electrical systems with a focus on safety and code compliance.

You will read blueprints, interpret schematics, and work with advanced wiring and control panels. A valid license, tools, and a commitment to quality are required.

Qualifications

• Journeyman electrical experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency with power tools, meters, and electrical test equipment.
• Own basic electrical tools and PPE, including hard hat and boots.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on diverse job sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Install conduit, control panels, fixtures, switches, and wiring.
• Ensure work complies with NEC and local codes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
• Mentor apprentices and reinforce safe practices.
• Communicate job progress with foremen and supervisors.
• Maintain clean, organized, safe work areas.
