Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master Electrician License required.
• OSHA 10 preferred; GED or High School Diploma.
• Experience in outdoor/indoor building environments.
• Able to interpret electrical schematics, traffic signal plans, and wiring diagrams.
• Traffic signal/traffic-control electrical experience preferred.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting traffic signals, controllers, detection systems, conduit, and underground electrical systems.
• Ability to safely perform electrical work in active roadway and traffic environments.

Responsibilities

• Replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Install and repair electrical equipment, including generators, transformers, ATS equipment, switchboards, controllers, and MCCs.
• Work from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or specifications.
• Locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment.
• Perform maintenance and service for ongoing facility operations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on distribution systems and report corrective actions.
