Job summary

WP Resources is seeking an on-site journeyman electrician for our aggregate and sand processing plant in Yoder, WY. The role involves working around heavy equipment, motors, controls and automation, and may require travel to other project sites.

You will report to the site Production Manager and perform installation, maintenance, and repairs of equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and ensure a safe, hazard-free work environment. A WY electrician license (or reciprocity) is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess Electrician License for WY, or ability to obtain a license through reciprocity within 6 weeks of hire, master journeyman.
• Substantial experience working with 3 phase motors in range of 10Hp to 150Hp, Soft starts, VFDs and PLCs.
• Ability to define problems and offer solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment including conveyor systems.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and determine necessary repairs.
• Identify materials and quantities for new and repair projects.
• Provide pricing to complete projects.
• Maintain a safe, hazard-free environment.
