Job summary

Bergelectric is seeking a Journeyman Wireman to install, repair and maintain electrical systems across commercial, industrial and residential sites in San Diego. The role emphasizes safety, code compliance and quality workmanship, with opportunities to lead tasks and support crew members.

You will work with power tools, read electrical blueprints, and ensure projects meet Bergelectric safety and productivity standards. A valid Journeyman license is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Journeyman Wireman license (where required by state/city/c county).
• Ability to install power systems: lighting, fire protection, security, and data networks.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, and test electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
• Use industry hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and diagrams.
• Splice and terminate wires at junctions and in control panels.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and control circuits; build control panels from drawings.
• Train and mentor other employees; communicate with foremen and crew.
• Maintain schedule to meet productivity goals and safety standards.
