Job summary

Enterprise Electrical is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to perform skilled electrical work on commercial construction projects. The role combines hands-on installation with leadership to support apprentices and enhance job-site efficiency.

Ideal candidates interpret blueprints, install electrical systems per NEC standards, and uphold safety and quality. On-site work involves high voltage and various conduit systems on commercial sites, with growth opportunities within the company.

Responsibilities

• Work on and around high voltage energized and general electrical equipment.
• Install various types of electrical conduit systems according to NEC standards.
• Cut, bend, and run conduit as specified on blueprints.
• Set up and maintain temporary power systems.
• Install and maintain grounding systems for all equipment and structures.
• Install junction boxes, panels, switches, plugs, and fixtures.
• Terminate wires and cables to electrical equipment, including breakers, control panels, and distribution systems, with technical understanding and quality craftsmanship.
• Test electrical components for continuity and proper voltage readings per specifications.
• Build out electrical services and demonstrate knowledge in service applications.
• Communicate and work under the direction of a Supervisor/Foreman (Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician).
• Able to work well under pressure, especially when facing tight timelines, unexpected delays, or urgent tasks.
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, accountable, and consistent in performing assigned tasks.
• Safety-conscious and able to follow all instructed safety regulations.
• Detail-oriented and results-driven.
• Knowledgeable in the use of electrical tools and equipment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage administrative functions.
• Ambitious with a desire to grow within the company.
• Familiarity with CenterPoint standards preferred.
