Job summary

Sentry is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain and repair electrical power, lighting and control systems in industrial environments. You will read blueprints, diagnose problems and perform preventative maintenance with a focus on safety and quality. Strong manual skills, physical stamina, and a valid SD Journeyman license are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid South Dakota Journeyman License.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Experience with electrical power, lighting and control systems.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks (lifting, climbing, etc).

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical tasks with general supervision.
• Terminate and install electrical cables.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures using meters.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on VFDs, motors, pumps, generators, etc.
• Install or repair faulty equipment, wiring, or control devices.
