Job summary

We Power America is hiring electricians across Indiana, with openings for journey level and supervisory positions on high profile commercial and industrial projects. You will install, maintain, repair, and upgrade electrical systems, read blueprints, and collaborate with engineers and other contractors to meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or supervisory level electricians considered.
• Experience in commercial and industrial electrical projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Troubleshooting and repairs of electrical problems using tools and techniques.
• Ensure work complies with local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for installations and upgrades.
• Upgrade and modify existing electrical systems to meet new requirements.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Collaborate with other contractors, engineers, and team members to meet timelines and budgets.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and boost efficiency.
• Provide on-call support for emergency electrical repairs.
