Job summary

Loenbro in Omaha, NE is seeking Journeyman Electricians for project-based work across data center, industrial and heavy commercial environments. The Journeyman Electrician will work independently and as part of a team to install, start up, troubleshoot, commission, maintain and service electrical equipment and systems.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license with commercial/industrial experience.
• Nebraska electrical license in good standing or eligible via reciprocity.
• Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience.
• Experience reading blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, riser diagrams, and project specifications.
• Proficiency with conduit installation and bending, cable tray layout, wire terminations, and electrical installation methods.
• Working knowledge of the NEC and electrical safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a project team.
• Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial, data center, and heavy commercial environments.
• Install conduit, cable tray, conductors, electrical equipment, terminations, and related systems per drawings and codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, riser diagrams, and project specifications.
• Perform start-up, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of electrical systems.
• Work with electrical distribution and control systems, including switchgear and controllers.
• Use conduit bending tools and cable tray layouts for terminations and installations.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and safety policies.
• Ensure compliance with NEC requirements and project specs.
• Identify and communicate safety, quality, or installation concerns to project leadership.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients to ensure safe, on-time completion.
• Maintain documentation as required by project/company procedures.
• Perform additional electrical duties as needed.
