Job summary

Pitt Electric is seeking a skilled electrician for industrial and commercial projects in the Charlotte area. The role requires reading plans, following Electric Code, and coordinating with superintendents and other trades to ensure on-time, on-budget project completion.

Applicants should have at least 4 years of electrical experience, a Journeyman's card, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen. High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Installation of electrical components and equipment on both commercial and industrial projects.
• Ability to read plans, specifications, and submittal data to ensure all equipment is correct and installed in accordance with Electric Code and manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Work productively with superintendents, project managers, co-workers, and other trades in a construction environment.
• Manage work crews ensuring all project tasks are completed on schedule and within budget including documenting hours worked and job progress.
• Must have knowledge and be willing to enforce company and OSHA safety policies.
