Job summary

CDM Smith Inc. is seeking an Electrical Journeyman to perform skilled electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and repair work on construction projects and facility systems.

You will work safely and efficiently in accordance with project plans, specifications, and electrical codes. Travel up to 40% may be required, including field work in NM, with responsibilities such as reading blueprints, pulling wire, wiring terminations, and completing daily project documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and local certifications as required.
• 4 years of related electrical experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Builds raceways, pulls wire, and terminates electrical runs.
• Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical systems and equipment.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, electrical diagrams, and job orders.
• Gathers tools, materials, and equipment for scheduled assignments.
• Performs work per electrical codes and project specs.
• Completes daily project documentation.
• Maintains a clean, safe worksite.
• Travel up to 40% as required.
• Field work in Pojoque, NM.
