Job summary

Helix Electric, Inc. is seeking a licensed state-certified Journeyman Electrician to join our data center focused team in Sandy, Utah. You will perform electrical installations, wiring, and troubleshooting in demanding commercial environments, following code and project specifications.

You will read blueprints, coordinate with other trades, and ensure safety and productivity on site while delivering high-quality workmanship on schedule and within budget for mission-critical facilities.

Qualifications

• State Journeyman Electrician Certification is required where applicable.
• Experience delivering safe projects on schedule and within budget.
• Reading blueprints and electrical drawings is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, maintain and test electrical equipment in commercial settings.
• Prepare work area for installation and install components.
• Read blueprints and install per drawings.
• Verify dimensions and clearances per plans.
• Operate equipment only when certified.
• Ensure site safety and proper equipment lock-up.
