Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of certified apprentice program or 6+ years in electrical trade.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and pass drug/background checks.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Prepares sketches showing wiring locations or follows diagrams/blueprints.
• Plans installations to minimize waste and ensure future maintenance access.
• Plans layout and installation of wiring and equipment per specs and codes.
• Installs switches, relays, panels, and distribution equipment.
• Repairs faulty equipment or systems.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install or repair wiring and fixtures.
• Advise management on potential hazards of operating equipment.
• Maintain current electrician license to meet regulations.
