Job summary

Tarrant County College District (TCCD) is seeking an Electrician to join the DT Physical Plant team at South Campus. This full-time position offers a starting pay of $55,700 with a semi-monthly pay cadence and a Monday–Friday schedule.

The work location is on-site at South Campus. You will plan, install, repair, and maintain wiring, electrical fixtures, and control systems in compliance with local codes, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Three (3) years’ working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements
• Valid Texas Driver License with CDL and good driving record

Responsibilities

• Plans new or modified installations to minimize waste and ensure safety per codes
• Prepares sketches or follows diagrams for wiring locations
• Measures, cuts, and installs electrical conduit
• Pulls wiring through conduit and connects fixtures and equipment
• Installs control and distribution apparatus and grounding leads
• Tests circuit continuity for safety and compatibility
• Repairs faulty equipment or systems
• Maintains and completes work orders with labor hours and materials
