Job summary

We Power America in Bemidji, MN is seeking experienced electricians for solar, commercial, and industrial projects. Foremen and supervisory Journeyman roles are especially needed. This is a full-time position with hourly pay and comprehensive employer-paid benefits.

Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reading blueprints. Overtime is available, and tools are provided with opportunities for leadership training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Experienced electricians in Bemidji, MN are in demand for solar, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Foreman and supervisory Journeyman electricians are especially sought after.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, including wiring, panels, circuits, motors, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using a range of tools to diagnose and resolve problems quickly.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and federal codes and safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations and upgrades.
• Upgrade existing systems to improve performance and meet new requirements.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout safety protocols and collaborate with other contractors and team members.
• Provide preventive maintenance and be available for emergency electrical repairs.

Job Responsibilities for Solar, Commercial, and Industrial Electrician:

• Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, including wiring, panels, circuits, motors, and equipment.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, using a variety of tools and techniques to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
• Compliance with Codes and Standards: Ensure all electrical work adheres to local, state, and federal electrical codes, safety standards, and building regulations.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical installations and upgrades.
  System Upgrades and Modifications: Upgrade and modify existing electrical systems to improve performance or meet new requirements, such as adding outlets or equipment.
• Safety Protocols: Adhere to strict safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, to ensure the safety of the work environment.
  Collaboration: Work closely with other contractors, engineers, and team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to reduce downtime and increase operational efficiency.
• Emergency Response: Provide on-call support for emergency electrical repairs, ensuring quick response and resolution of critical issues.
